Methylcobalamin in Gelatin

Product Profile:

STABICOAT® Methylcobalamin in Gelatin is microencapsulated crystalline Methylcobalamin (Mecobalamin) with Gelatin. It is used for achieving even dispersion and stability of Methylcobalamin in dry formulations resulting in improved shelf-life.

Features:

Stability:
Stability of Methylcobalamin is affected by oxidizing and reducing agents, ultraviolet and visible light etc. Other active ingredients in a formulation also affects the stability of methylcobalamin. Methylcobalamin in Gelatin offers the most reliable solution for stability of Methylcobalamin in various formulations.

Dispersion:
As Methylcobalamin is needed in micrograms, it is very difficult to disperse it uniformly in dry blend as dry powder. Variation in number of crystals from dose to dose may cause content variation. Methylcobalamin in Gelatin is recommended as a dependable solution for homogeneity.

Flowability:
STABICOAT® Methylcobalamin in Gelatin is free flowing powder. It’s excellent flowability gives processing convenience ad homogeneous mixing in formulation.
